As a candidate for the Commissioner of Agriculture, I am committed to performing the duties of this office with the professionalism and proficiency expected by the people of West Virginia.
The Department of Agriculture affects every West Virginian every day. The safety of the food you eat is monitored by this important government entity. It also helps identify and control invasive species.
The Department also helps promote West Virginia's food and agricultural markets, and as your Commissioner, I am committed to helping promote the biofuels industry by using some of our state's reclaimed surface mines.
I encourage you to learn about this important office and cast an informed vote on the May 13th Primary.
